Chris Amor
Head of Press at OMD UK, Chris Amor is already feeling the nerves about his impending first toe-dip in the pool of ballroom dancing.
He describes his present style of dancing as “wedding’ - which conjures up enough of a picture for us.
Whatever happens, says Chris, he’ll give it his all (and if his favourite Strictly dancer, Lilia is anywhere in the vicinity, he’ll try even harder).
Learning new things is always good and he’s feeling excited about the overall prospect.
As to getting him in see-through shirts, sequins and feathers, he’s not having any of it.
We’ll have to see about that. His biggest fear? Discovering he has no rhythm. His plan is to just deep-breathe through the embarrassment.
Cath Ware
Cath Ware, Advertising Sales Director, Central Revenue Streams, BBC Magazines, is feeling excited about joining the Strictly Come Dancing fun.
Sequins or feathers? She says she’ll take both, there’s not enough glamour to be had. Quietly confident, Cath expects to bring flair, fun and fancy footwork to the competition (if not a little flask of vodka).
Her ideal dance partner would be Patrick Swayze, but even with him as inspiration, Cath wonders if 18 hours of one-to-one training will ever be enough. She’s certainly trying to keep her training focussed by drinking plenty of water and less of the booze. An interesting fact about Cath is that she owns two ferrets.
